I am a huge fan of TRX you may see from my posts on Instagram! TRX stands for ‘Total resistance exercise’ and it is a workout with a difference.

This simple set of straps pits you against your own body weight. The straps hang from a ceiling (or your nearest tree!) and has loops for your hands or feet. It looks simple, but after a few minutes of working out, you'll be feeling it!

TRX is great for any ability - as it works on your body weight it can be graded to your strength level. And as you get stronger, you can adapt the exercises you are doing, or increase the intensity or length.

It’s also a great exercise for sore joints, as it gives them a break from pounding the floor and focuses instead on your muscle strength.

It's best to get help from a professional when starting out with TRX to make sure you are using it in the right way and that you have a tailored plan suited to your level and avoiding flaring up any injuries or mobility issues you might have.
